North Ferriby Parish Plan

A Parish Plan is prepared by local communities to determine their future and how they can change for the better. The document sets out a vision for the future of the parish and outlines how that can be achieved in an Action Plan. The plan does not just consider property planning issues but covers a wide range of social, economic and environmental issues. It includes the views of ALL members of the community including children. Work on developing North Ferriby's Parish Plan started in September 2007. Members of the Ferriby business community kindly agreed to sponsor the production of the Parish Plan Report:

- T. W. Black Plumbing
- Ronald Cogan & Sons, Funeral Directors
- Gill Crosland, Remedial Massage
- Marilyn Davies, Driving Instruction
- North Ferriby Nursing Home
- Ian Loncaster and Company
- North Ferriby United

We also wish to acknowledge the financial and moral support provided by the Humber & Wolds Rural Community Council.

The Plan was launched at a well-attended public event on Saturday, 18th June 2011 and is available in North Ferriby Library. Printed copies of the Plan are available to purchase from Mrs. Margaret Swindin, by telephoning on 633 848 or e-mailing at - price £6 each.
